To change your Linksys router password, make sure that you are connected to the Linksys network, either through a wireless connection or through ethernet.
Navigate to the Linksys IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. The Ip address may vary according to the router model.
You will see a login page on the screen, enter your default Linksys username and password that is ‘admin’.
Once you have login into the Linksys router setting, go to the Wireless Setup option.
In the wireless security settings, change the SSID network name and the passphrase which is the security key or password for your Linksys router.
